Cancellations
We require a minimum of 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Your appointment is a reservation for services and for the individualized attention we provide each pet. We can only take a limited number of appointments each day, so a missed appointment is a loss of income to a small business and our groomers. PLEASE CALL IN ADVANCED TO AVIOD FEES.
No Shows
If an appointment is missed without a 24 hour notification, a $20.00 “No Show”/ “Late Cancellation” Fee will be charged AND a deposit of ½ the grooming cost may be required to reschedule your next appointment.
Late arrivals
We are only able to perform the grooming services for your pet in the time allotted for your scheduled appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, we may not be able to perform your scheduled grooming services and you may need to reschedule your appointment so that we can stay on schedule with our other clients. If time allows, an additional fee may apply in order to complete a full groom.
Late pick up
We will give you a call/text when your pet is ready for pick up. We give you a 1 HOUR grace period until a fee is add to your account. Late pick up fee is as follows: $5 for every 30 minutes after the 1 HOUR grace period. If a pet is picked up after hours the account will be charged a $5 fee for every 10 minutes after closing.
De-matting
Pets should be groomed every 4-8 weeks depending on the haircut desired. If a client wants a longer hair cut, the pet should be in every 4-5 weeks to prevent matting. A $5-$25 DE-MATTING FEE WILL BE ADDED TO THE GROOMING PRICE. Price is determined by how long it takes the groomer to remove the mat. It is under the groomers discretion if de-matting can be done safely. Mats that are to the skin will not be de-matted and will be shaved with the clients knowledge.
Vaccinations/Preventatives
We only require proof of rabies at Dapper Dog Wash. Regardless of this, pets should be updated on all core vaccines and be on a yearly flea/tick preventative. This helps to stop the spread of any diseases at Dapper Dog Wash in spite of our daily cleaning.
Senior, Aggressive OR Hyper Dogs
We do not guarantee finished haircuts on these dogs. Our main focus is the safety of your pets and our employees. Your groomer/bather will talk with you about any concerns and ways to get the job done in the future.
